Dear Students and Parents,

The easiest way to describe our Closure Policy is to say this:

Visit our Calendar and News webpage to see if we are closed. We will try to give as much advanced notice as possible. Depending on the circumstances (like snowfall, sickness, emergency, or for other reasons) we might not be able to post a Closure Notice until the day of the Closure. All Students and Parents should check our Calendar and News webpage if there is any question about whether ESA is open or closed on that day.

Here is a basic breakdown of our Closure Policies:

• ESA could be closed for business on US holidays, although Mr. Gallagher reserves the option to keep ESA open for business on those days.
• ESA could be closed for business whenever the Douglas County Schools and/or Littleton Public Schools are closed for extreme weather conditions, although Mr. Gallagher reserves the option to keep ESA open for business on any of those days.
• ESA could be closed for business if the YMCA has deemed it necessary to close their building for any reason.
• ESA can be closed (or kept open) for any reason, on any day, at the direction of Mr. Robert Gallagher.
